Default Kurzick Turtle Killer and Well Support

The following build I have used in Fort Aspenwood Kurzick side with a lot of success. Not that it takes much but it seems to fit situation well. I am not sure if anyone else runs wells much, but in the tight corners and doorways of the fort they work very well. It also steals corpses from any luxon minion masters keeping them in check. You can drop blood wells to heal anyone and everyone very quickly as long as the bodies are dropping fast. This build solos turtles with little problems and can take the full attack damage from the siege and still survive over and over. This will not draw attention from the warriors protecting the turtles if you stay at spell range. So attacking from the side and rear is optimal, or if the turtle is not moving then you can hit from the front. Energy should not be a problem using blood drinker and angorodon’s gaze in tandem. It is a heavy spamming build

Blood 12 (Plus runes you have)
Death 11
Soul Reaping 6

[life transfer] [blood of the aggressor][vampiric gaze][blood drinker] [Angorodon's Gaze] [well of blood] [well of suffering] last spot optional I take [smite hex] more for a self removal could take [remove hex] but I like the 20damage you get with 2 attributes spent.

I saw you at FA few times in a row, yeah your build is quite effective.
I would take glyph of swiftness for LT instead hex removal.

First thing first, thank you for sharing. Now, the build seems nice, but dumb. Not that it's bad, but if you "steal" a build from your hero then that says something about the build (and the player?). I guess that if you enjoy pressing 12345 2345 6 12345 2345 7 and so on then you will love this build. Or you can take a build that only a human can use properly, which in most cases is better by default. After saying that, Necros own shit when lots of stuff is dying so you can pretty much put anything in their bar and you'll pwn faces, just take a look at sabway and discordway.

The goal of the kurzick is to hold out as long as you can till the timer is done, and that is exactly what this helps with. If I can stop turtles or slow down the 2-3 attackers at a time for 20-30 seconds imagine the help to the team as a whole. The more people targeting me and trying to kill me the less people getting to Gunther. You are right it is a button masher build but it works in this situation. A “Hero can do it better” has nothing to do with Fort Aspenwood. If I was running PVE with heroes I certainly would be running something else. The only reason I use this type of build is because of the wells. No one seems to run them. They have a place and should be recognized. I am not claiming this is a new build just that in this situation with the environment it is a good build.

shadow strike is too good not to have in the build. For what reason would you ever need hex removal. You are currently committing 11 attribute points in death magic for 1 skill... that's not a good move on your part.

take out well of suffering completely.

I personally would go N/Rt with life and blind was [dude]

You could take out blood of the aggressor for shadow strike and then add awaken the blood for more damage potential since you aren't sacing health anymore.

Blood Magic: 12+1+1
Soul Reaping: 8+1
Restoration Magic: 10
[life transfer][shadow strike][vampiric gaze][signet of lost souls][awaken the blood][mend body and soul][blind was mingson][life]
---> you could also sub out mend body and soul for well of blood if you wanted.

Wouldn't it make more sense just to run a HB LT capper or something? It can still go through turtle's armor and damage reduction like a hot knife through butter, and you've got more utility/defense for surviving stuff like palm strike. Insid parasite should kill the luxon warriors quite fast too, plus the defense the build has.

Honestly, a HB build in FA doesn't sound horrible. Recall is fun, as is ridiculous amounts of defense and survivability with damage and degeneration enough to get the job done, unless they've got a monk on whatever you're taking down.

[Signet of Sorrow] kicks the crap out of stuff with corpses laying around. Instant recharge FTW.

I added [Verata's Aura] to my optional spot. since every other time I play there is someone running arround causing havoc. I get a kick when I see a fully stocked minion master scramble

[verata's aura] Last night I tested it, and it was a riot. It really is a useless skill in PVE and in 90% of PVP. But....I totally owned a Luxon MM last night. I took over the time of the match at least 17 minions and had 2 Flesh Golems running at once. It was comical and the other MM was laughing as I stole them because I made his build utterly useless with only one skill. Just for the shear fun of it this skill gets a thumbs up from me.

Show me an offensive build that isn't a button masher and that takes "skill" to play please! All builds are easy to play, i've never had a build that's made me think, "gee, I'm not leet enough to play this"

Build is awesome, I like what it does and can see the benefit at Fort... I second the dude about GoS from the ele line, 33% faster recharge on LT is imba...

The number of corpses in FA is like trees in a forest.

Here's what I like to use in FA as a Kurzick Necromancer to kill turtles (and players), and even AB sometimes.

Blood Magic: 12+1+1
Soul Reaping: 12+1

[Shadow Strike][Lifebane Strike][Vampiric Gaze][Life Transfer][Strip Enchantment][Optional][Well of Blood][Signet of Lost Souls]

[Shadow Strike] and [Lifebane Strike] are good for raw damage, I bring them both because of the recharge, and that in FA my energy allows me to spam them both freely. When in group combat it can be a good idea to switch targets with these to avoid using them on enemies below 50% health, but they can still be worth it against an enemy under 50% health if you have enough energy and are out of other options. Good for hitting through prot spirit. You don't need both though if you want two optional skills.

[Vampiric Gaze] is self explanatory, unconditional armor ignoring damage, fast cast, good enough recharge, and self healing to boot.

[Life Transfer] is great cheap damage and self healing, hex removal shouldn't be too much of a problem but you can bring a cover hex. Recharge is annoying but oh well, try to get 40% recharge on a weapon set.

[Strip Enchantment] has grown on me, think of it as a more powerful Vampiric Gaze to use on anyone using enchants, and it also tears down their defenses/buffs. Be mindful of the recharge though and don't waste it on something like [[Aura of Restoration] when you can use it on something like [[Elemental Attunement].

[Well of Blood] is very spammable and you can even use it for corpse denial when there are few corpses in the vicinity. A well in the right spot can provide a lot of healing to you, your teammates, and the allied NPCs.

[Signet of Lost Souls] is a no brainer, you can almost always find someone under 50%hp to use it on when you need it, and what's not to love about a fast casting e-management/self heal with only an 8s recharge?

And finally the optional slot.

I haven't actually tried [[Blood Bond] with it, but this is one of the few situations where it might be a good idea considering the odds of having insufficient healers and I find myself over-healing with my life steals often enough that the degen wouldn't be a big deal, especially if you take 2 optionals and get more reliable self healing.

This is one of those situations where [[Life Siphon] can actually be a good idea in pvp because the enemy team is usually not very organized as far as hex removal, the 2s cast time really hurts but you can spread it around for pressure damage and self healing, and it's better than nothing as a cover hex for [[life transfer].

If you just want a cover hex for [[life transfer], than [[Mark of Fury] will do the job. And who knows, maybe you can get some teamwork going with adrenaline using allies.

[[Vampiric Swarm] is something you might want to replace [[lifebane strike] with, the energy shouldn't be a problem, it's not conditional, and you'll almost always hit 3 targets.

I don't know why I don't like [[Signet of Sorrow], maybe because I think it's cheap, or maybe because it's just so friggen annoying when you screw up the recharge and you were relying on it as your main damage source. Don't let that stop you from considering it though.

With a few points in death magic, you can take [[consume corpse] for corpse denial, [[verata's aura] to counter MMs (careful of the range though), [[well of suffering] for pressure damage, or even [[rotting flesh] if you wanna risk spreading disease.

With a few points in curses, you can take [[defile defenses] for a cover hex, or one of the curses wells to hamper your enemies.

I wont bother going into optional skills from secondaries, just because there are so many, and this post is getting pretty long.
